MVC Builder

For Laravel developers and agencies

Design your Laravel app once. Generate it every time.

Build applications from a versioned library of properties, entities and features. MVC Builder writes the models, migrations, controllers, views, policies and tests, and pushes them to GitHub.

  • Readable Laravel source
  • Versioned, never overwritten
  • Pushed to your repository

Six layers, one package

  1. Properties

Single reusable fields, such as Email Address, Status or Date Of Birth, each with its type, validation, migration column and form control.

  2. Property bundles

Fields that travel together, such as Contact Information or Money.

  3. Entities

Business objects such as Members, Orders or Elections, made from properties and bundles. Model and table names are derived for you.

  4. Features

Behaviour you attach: CRUD management, authentication, search, soft deletes, notifications and approval workflows.

  5. Packages

Entities and features with their relationships, views, roles and permissions, routes and API, database and tests.

  6. Generate and deploy

A review runs first. Then the build writes Laravel source, runs its tests and pushes to GitHub, as two deliberate steps.

Build once. Reuse everywhere.

  • One library for every package

Define the Customer model, the CRUD controller and the validation rules once. Every package you assemble uses the same pieces.

  • Versioned and safe

Library items are published as immutable versions. Packages are told when a new one arrives and choose whether to accept it.

  • Real, readable code

Plain Laravel you can open, review and own. No runtime to install, nothing hidden.

  • Checks before it builds

Errors block generation, warnings are listed, and a generated test suite runs on every build.

  • GitHub-native

Pushes to your repository, opens a pull request and writes a GitHub Actions workflow. Secrets are referenced by name, never committed.

  • An assistant for the library

It points out the properties, bundles and entities your library is missing, drafts them from plain language and adds them when you approve.

Code provenanceReal Laravel code. Every line says where it came from.No runtime and no black box: MVC Builder writes the models, migrations, controllers and tests you would have written, and the generated-code view colours each line by its source.app/Models/Member.phpLibraryFeatureOverride<?phpnamespace App\Models;use Illuminate\Database\Eloquent\SoftDeletes;class Member extends Model{ use HasFactory, SoftDeletes, Notifiable; protected $fillable = [ 'first_name', 'last_name', 'email_address', 'date_of_birth', 'status', 'membership_number', ]; public function scopeSearch($query, string $term) { return $query->where('last_name', 'like', "%{$term}%"); } public function votes(): HasMany { return $this->hasMany(Vote::class); }}

From package to pull request

Generating and pushing are separate steps, so nothing reaches your repository by accident. When you push, MVC Builder commits to a branch, opens a pull request and adds a workflow that runs the generated tests.

  • Pushes to your own GitHub repository
  • Opens a pull request for review
  • Writes a GitHub Actions workflow
  • Secrets referenced by name, never committed
